Location and type: Period property featuring outdated uPVC windows installed by a previous owner that had diminished its kerb appeal
Client request: The homeowner wanted to reinstate the property’s original charm and style with premium sash windows that complemented the building’s period design.
Installation: We installed stunning replica sliding sash windows with an agate grey woodgrain finish on the outside and crisp white inside. Each window was crafted with mechanical joints, run-through sash horns, trickle vents, and decorative trim work to give that authentic, traditional look.
Challenges and solutions
The biggest challenge was undoing the look of the previous installation as the old uPVC windows just didn’t suit the home’s style. By replacing them with our replica sash windows, we were able to restore the property’s original charm and give it a real kerb-appeal boost, while also improving energy efficiency and durability.
The process
We started by carefully removing the existing windows and preparing each opening for a precise fit.
