Project overview
Location and type: A large detached residential property
Client request: The homeowner wanted to elevate the appearance of their windows with a more premium, balanced, and symmetrical finish.
Installation: A-rated double glazing using Deceuninck flush casement windows. Georgian bar crucifix details were added in the top lights to provide a refined, characterful touch.
Challenges and solutions
The team had to work entirely from inside the property due to a front porch and tiled roof that limited external access. Careful coordination was needed to work around the client’s existing furniture and ensure a clean, efficient process.
To overcome these challenges, we made sure to schedule the work at a convenient time for the client, completing all sealing and cleaning internally before glazing. Extra time was also allocated on site due to the more complex flush casement window design.
The process
High-quality Deceuninck flush casement windows were used, each fitted with 25mm Georgian bars. The full project, from consultation to completion, spanned around one month, with two days dedicated to installation. The front door will be replaced in a later phase when the client is ready.
The result
We’re delighted to say that the finished look exceeded expectations, offering a stunning, symmetrical upgrade with improved energy efficiency. The client was thrilled with the results and has received numerous compliments from friends and neighbours!
