- Composite front door in ‘mouse grey’
- Matching side windows with leaded glass surrounds
- Antique black door furniture
- High-security cylinder
- All premium-grade components and finishes
Challenges and solutions
The client wanted maximum kerb appeal without relying on a bulky porch addition. We settled on a thermally efficient and highly secure door system, meaning a porch was no longer necessary for insulation or security. Leaded glass and heritage-style hardware ensured the design-maintained character while delivering modern performance.
The process
We worked closely with the customer to help them choose the right door and finishes to match their vision. Once everything was ready, our fitting team carried out the installation smoothly and with great attention to detail.
The result
A warm, secure, and incredibly stylish front entrance that adds serious kerb appeal. The mouse grey colour pops beautifully against the brickwork, and the leaded side panels let in light while keeping the traditional feel.

“1st class service from Paddy in sales, from Steve the surveyor, from Martin doing minor repairs and Sean and Dave the fitters who were polite clean and tidy and did a cracking job. I’d definitely 100% recommend BGS the price is reasonable too, ask for Sean and Dave Tilley by name you won’t be disappointed. Photos show the protective tape still on, this was my request as I have a building project ongoing.”
